i think we're probably going to pick up the u.s. senate seat in pennsylvania. people forget, they say this is a democratic state. it's got a republican governor, one of the two senators is a republican, a majority of the house is republican. both the house and state senate are republican. there's likelihood he will carry pennsylvania. but in ohio, i think we're going to carry ohio. i'll give you one example, piers. in southeastern ohio is coal country and is very conservative with belief in god, right to bear arms. the democratic early voting in those counties are votes for romney. yet if you look at the various analysis, they're taking democratic turnout in ohio as though it's all going to be for obama. this is right next to west virginia, where a convicted felon sitting in a texas prison got 40% of the democratic presidential primary vote against obama. those are romney votes, not obama votes and romney going to pittsburgh is going to resonate all along that ohio river valley tomorrow. >> the problem it seems to me has been forced by hurricane sandy, which ca

because just as the u.s. house would be tasked with picking the new president, the u.s. senate would pick the vice president=6 and the democrats have an advantage there. so the incoming senate could give us a ticket nobody counted on. mitt romney as president and joe biden has vice president. and they can't put barack obama in there, they have to go with the candidate they have. if there's a tie in the senate, joe biden could cast the deciding vote for himself. none of this is guaranteed. there's so many things that could happen. there could be legal challenges, recounts or a faithless elector. you're not voting for president today, you're voting for members of the electoral college who will then say this is how this state wants its votes counted. that could happen and if it did, one person changing his or her mind could change history and give the election to barack obama or mitt romney. wolf? >> that would be amazing indeed. 269-269. let's see if that happens. i suspect it won't, but it's something worth pondering right now. stand by, we're getting exit poll results co

the u.s. department of defense and the president have ordered this and there will be a ten-gallon limit. there's been a real problem for folks there trying to get gasoline in their cars, so that is certainly some good news as well. now more on superstorm sandy. take a look at these stunning before-and-after photos that we're just getting from google earth. this first one is from brick township, new jersey. on the right, if you look closely, you can see the cared remains of a neighborhood and some small fires still glowing. and this is on the new jersey coast, one of new jersey's barrier islands. you the see it now has a small river running through where a cluster of homes actually used to be. i actually saw that area for myself. it is something to see. the end of bridge you can see was also washed out. this is iconic seaside heights. look at the corner of the pier there where a roller coaster once was. on the rights side, you see it broke off right into the ocean and piles of debris washed up
